KIIT: Revealing the Academic Path of Excellence and Innovation

I opted for this course as I have always been passionate about pursuing B.Tech particularly in the CSE branch despite not securing admission to a government college due to online coaching limitations, I strived to gain acceptance into this institution. The faculty here is highly competent with backgrounds from esteemed institutions like IITs and NITs, boasting numerous research papers under their belt the teaching approach is interactive, and there is adaptability between offline and online classes when necessary. Examinations were conducted promptly and were manageable.

Numerous companies visit our campus to offer internships. Being a second year student I did come across information about GE India Ltd offering a monthly stipend of 40,000 rupees and a Pre Placement Offer of 15-16 lakhs per annum.

Starting from the 5th semester incident commence thier internship and placements. Various companies, including numerous startups visit the campus offering additional learning opportunities. KIIT recorded an average package of inr 8.5 lakhs with the highest package reaching INR 65 LPA over 3800 job offers were extended by 300+ recruiters with 62+ new recruiters participating in the 2024 placements. The placement rate exceeded 92% with many students pursuing further studies. As for my plans, they are diverse. I am considering the possibility of pursuing govt jobs due to interest, or perhaps delving into placement related activities in other options.

Based on my research there hasn't been any increase in fees. The annual cost of studying here is approximately 4,50,000 excluding personal expenses. Here is a breakdown 1,75,000 for academic fees per semester, 22,500 for mess fees per semester and 28,000 for hostel fees per semester for a non ac room with three beds

KIIT Fest marks the annual technocultural celebration at KIIT, typically held around September to October. Regarding the library, this university boasts one of the largest institutional libraries in the country with the Central Library spanning 5 to 6 stories adding to its grandeur. It offers extensive educational resources for both students and faculties. The classrooms are equipped with advanced technology including smart boards ,pcs ,projectors ,cameras and air conditioning. The sports facilities are exceptional with dedicated sports complexes on each campuses ( as the university is divided into several small campuses ). Moreover there are approximately 25-30 societies and clubs under KSAC (KIIT student activity centre)

The rooms at this location are notably roomy and furnished with cupboards windows optional air conditioning clothing hooks and more. In terms of meals I would consider them to be moderate. Perhaps due to my non Odisha background I may not fully appreciate the flavours. Non vegetarians may find it satisfactory but for vegetarians its average. Registration for hostel room preferences is completed online upon receiving an email notification.

Enrollment in this program requires successful completion of your 12th grade with either PCM or pcmb subjects I secured admission through KIITEE the entrance examination for KIIT additionally admissions were considered based on jee mains percentile. I attained an 84% score in KIITEE and was allocated the CSE branch during the initial counselling rounds. Application forms are available on the website kiit.ac.in. Although I'm not certain about the exact cut off my rank was approximately 4500 and I secured admission into the CSE branch.
