Remarks

The main eligibility is to qualify JEE exam.After securing a good mark in JEE exam you can opt for the course you like.There is reservations for st/sc and other backward classes.If we prepare well after higher secondary you can crack the entrance exam and will get admission.

Course curriculum is overall good.No need of improvement and all.The faculty members are all supportive.The main thing is our hardwork.No one will be there for to pish us its only us.All systems available for study use it.

Each and every year placement programs were conducting.A student must be pass without any supply can sit for placement.There will be placement orientation programs.The placement cell is verey effective.Each year different companies were conducting placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be scholarships for st/ sc students.They only need to pay the additional fees comming from the mess.For other backward communities also have the fee relaxation.There will be e grants for st/sc students provided by the gov.

Campus Life

The campus life was amazing.Its an another world inside the campus we can really enjoy it.There are somay extra activities inside the campus including club activities sports etc.The campus was filled with wide varieties of plants,flowers etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was really amazing.We can chose our own roomies.The hostel provided according to the year in which we were studying.Expect final year each room accomodate 4 members in final year we get single room.The mess was really superb different kind of foods.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
