Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum and training in this institution is very advanced and updated according to the requirements of the industry. This curriculum helps you to prepare for real world applications and industry oriented training. The teaching methods are great but would be better if the integrate new technologies.

Internships Opportunities

I am still in first year of the crouse. So I am not eligible for internships. But I have entered few technical clubs of my college and it's a great experience working there and I am looking forward for my opportunities ahead.

Placement Experience

Many companies visit this prestigious institute. Around 300 to 400 companies visit the campus and the placement season starts at around August. All the students from third and fourth year are eligible to sit for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is 62,000 per semester. Mess and hostel charges are 32,000 per semester. There are many scholarships available based on merit as well as reservations. Complete cost for four years reaches around 12lakhs.

Campus Life

The campus has many feats and festivals. Anunal Technical fest "Engineer" is held in odd semester around the month of October and annual culture fest is "Incident" held in even semester around the month of march.

Hostel Facilities

There are eight messes of boys and three for girls. There are many optional available for good food. There is mega mess for vegetarians. There are three night canteens in the campus, that operate between 7pm to 3am.

Admission

I am Prakhyath Sai V. The eligibility of this course is you must pass your 12th board exams with minimum of 75 percentage. The application form, application fees and date is available in JEE Mains official website. The JEE Mains exams is held twice a year. The difficulty of exam is Medium to Difficult.

the placement oppurtunity in my collage are the quite good especilly for computer science and it branches from seventh semester ownwards students become eligible for campous placements many reputed companies visit our campous every year including infosys tcs vipro oracle google fedility amazon etc.free product based companies like amazon zoho meesho also conduct intervies for high perfoming students like santosh pradeep sharth amit bhuvan they got placed inamazon for 24 lpaa name called dhanush 58 lpa and the gold medalist of our college.our college average package is 6lpa,around 80 to 85 percent students get placed every year

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

Placement Experience:

The placements record of Bangalore institute of technology is quite impressive and has been improving every year.Students become eligible for for campus placements from fifth sem onwards.The college has dedicated training and placement cell.Many companies are visited the campus including Google Micrsoft cisco tcs phonepe asian paints fadility amazon and more.Apart from IT companies a few core and startup firms also offer roles.The average package offered is around 4 to 5 LPA.The highest package is 57 LPA offered gy MIcrosoft company.Nearly 80 to 90 percentage of students from the eligible batch secure placements every year.If I did't placed in my college I plan to work for few year to gain experience and later pursue a master's degree to enhance my career.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year,students start preparing for internships. Companies like Accenture,Wipro,etc. visits the campus (through senior info). For amazon, we are told that they don't visit the campus for internship and placement, so we have to do it off-campus. The highest package offered is 53.5LPA. and the average package is 6.5LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job first and after gaining experience, further achieve higher studies.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

After GATE exam, I applied to almost all top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut etc during CCMT counselling . I had also applied in IIT Dhanbad in COAP counselling. I got IIT Dhanbad in 8th round. I spoke to my coaching Sir, he had advised me to go for top 3 NITs rather than IIT Dhanbad. Since these three NITs are well established and offer better placement opportunities as compared to IIT Dhanbad which is relatively a new IIT. One needs to qualify GATE exam to get a shot at taking admission in IITs/NITs. Once you qualify the GATE exam you can then look at specific colleges cutoff for admission. I got NIT Surathkal in special round 1 which was held after 3 regular rounds. I preferred NIT Surathkal as compared to other NITs since its considered in top 3 NITs and also it's near my home as compared to NIT Trichy....Read More

LIFE AT NITK

I had applied for other IITs & NITs with different branches like IIT GUWAHATI and IIT BHU ,IIT ROORKEE,NIT TRICHY as i wasn't able to clear the cutoff according to their requirements i got NITK SURATHKAL which was the best that i got i choosed the other colleges because of their higher placement records more average salary packages and the most OG thing is that i wanted the IITian tag but i had also got a seat allocated in IIT BHU in metallurgy but i didnt wanted to take it and finally i chose NITK SURAATHKAL because it near to my hometown Banglore and the weather is very good there it has a privatre beach along with a light house many places to visit around NITK SURATHKAL mainly a very big campus of aroung 300 acres and multiple number of sports opportunities it has 2 gym .
