Course Curriculum Overview

Actually practical labs are very helpful for knowing real world application. But as per ongoing curriculum duration of course time is very short. Actually it makes lot of difficult to students to understand the real outcome of the course

Internships Opportunities

Ulccs Ltd construction company, different IITs, central road research Institute, csir, airport authority, TCS, UST globals. We can do internships under these companies as their assistant. Some of the companies provide stipends.

Placement Experience

Cimparing to all other engineering colleges in Kerala our college provide maximum placement opportunity. For civil opportunities and packages are very few. But for computer science and electrical department majority or students with skill get placed with good salary package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Normally per year there will almost 20000 per yr including exam fee and tution fee for 2 sem. And there are so many scholarsgips provided by government and as well as alumni Association for financially backward and meritorious students.

Campus Life

As it is a well known college. Infrastructure facilities and faculty student relationship are very good. And overall campus life is fabulous. Because there are so many students clubs which helps students to enhance their technical as well as cultural skills.

Hostel Facilities

According to entrance rank there are limited seats in both girls hostel and boys hostel. Only 300 rupee for rent. But we have to pay extra fee as mess fee. Very healthy and clean food. We can apply for college hostel during our college admission process

Admission

Through Kerala entrance exam kram. Now I am studying in college of engineering Trivandrum which is the first rank college under Kerala technical university. So we have to secure better score in our entrance exam. I got merit seat. My entrance rank was almost 3000 something range.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement is average .top MNC except Google and Microsoft comes here.examppes are Infosys,TCS,Shobha construction etc.average package was 4 lpa some gotabove 10 lpa some students got more than one placement .no of offers made was about 300.from s6 onwards students become eligible for placement. Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank.
