What Students Say

Likes

Beach. It is stress relief for many of the students.
Night canteens. It provides the food for the people who is not able to eat in mess.
Clubs. We can learn and develope skills in various fields by joining in the clubs.

Dislikes

Old Hostel blocks. The interior infrastructure is not that good.
Food. We have to adjust. I don’t like that.
Locality. We have to go to Mangalore if you need anything.

Course Curriculum Overview

Highly qualified faculty. It is the main reason for me to choose this college. That there are many research papers approved by prestigious institutions which are written by the professors here themselves. The curriculum is also very well planned that the students are able to concentrate on other things also like sports clubs etc. The difficulty level of the exams is also high compared to other institutions.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I'm in the first year I'm not in any kind of internship. But later may be I can acquire an opportunity. There will be many opportunities. We can go into that field at that time. They will only teach us and later we have to do projects.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college. That mostly 80-90% students will be placed. And the highest package is 15 LPA. If not placed in the campus itself, you can get placed off campus. Because you will have the one of the prestigious institution's stamp on your degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of a particular student is decided based on their reservation category. For ST students the hostel fees is 80000. There will be various kinds of scholarships which will be given based on some conditions and the necessary documents are to be submitted for acquiring that scholarship.

Campus Life

There will be two mains fests that will be conducted in our campus. One is ENGINEER, the technical fest and the other isINCIDENT, the cultural fest. There will be various kinds of books in the library based on the taste of students and the required difficulty level. For sports also you will have many facilities that you can play whatever sport you need based on your interest.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good but new blocks are damn good that old blocks. Food is like we have to adjust. Because there will be many student across the India. They all will have different taste. Soo we have to adjust. Not much satisfied with the food.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Admission process is through JEE Mains exam. You have to qualify based on that year cutoffs to acquire a seat in your desired college. You can get admission through the reservations also by submitting required documents during counselling process. There will be 4 phases of exams namely quiz-1, midsem, quiz-2, endsem.

Interview Experience

There are no group discussion and interview for the admission in these prestigious institutions. There will be an entrance exam which is being conducted by NTA. The cutoffs will vary year to year. And the counselling process will be conducted by JoSAA.

the placement oppurtunity in my collage are the quite good especilly for computer science and it branches from seventh semester ownwards students become eligible for campous placements many reputed companies visit our campous every year including infosys tcs vipro oracle google fedility amazon etc.free product based companies like amazon zoho meesho also conduct intervies for high perfoming students like santosh pradeep sharth amit bhuvan they got placed inamazon for 24 lpaa name called dhanush 58 lpa and the gold medalist of our college.our college average package is 6lpa,around 80 to 85 percent students get placed every year

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

Placement Experience:

The placements record of Bangalore institute of technology is quite impressive and has been improving every year.Students become eligible for for campus placements from fifth sem onwards.The college has dedicated training and placement cell.Many companies are visited the campus including Google Micrsoft cisco tcs phonepe asian paints fadility amazon and more.Apart from IT companies a few core and startup firms also offer roles.The average package offered is around 4 to 5 LPA.The highest package is 57 LPA offered gy MIcrosoft company.Nearly 80 to 90 percentage of students from the eligible batch secure placements every year.If I did't placed in my college I plan to work for few year to gain experience and later pursue a master's degree to enhance my career.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year,students start preparing for internships. Companies like Accenture,Wipro,etc. visits the campus (through senior info). For amazon, we are told that they don't visit the campus for internship and placement, so we have to do it off-campus. The highest package offered is 53.5LPA. and the average package is 6.5LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job first and after gaining experience, further achieve higher studies.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

After GATE exam, I applied to almost all top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut etc during CCMT counselling . I had also applied in IIT Dhanbad in COAP counselling. I got IIT Dhanbad in 8th round. I spoke to my coaching Sir, he had advised me to go for top 3 NITs rather than IIT Dhanbad. Since these three NITs are well established and offer better placement opportunities as compared to IIT Dhanbad which is relatively a new IIT. One needs to qualify GATE exam to get a shot at taking admission in IITs/NITs. Once you qualify the GATE exam you can then look at specific colleges cutoff for admission. I got NIT Surathkal in special round 1 which was held after 3 regular rounds. I preferred NIT Surathkal as compared to other NITs since its considered in top 3 NITs and also it's near my home as compared to NIT Trichy....Read More

LIFE AT NITK

I had applied for other IITs & NITs with different branches like IIT GUWAHATI and IIT BHU ,IIT ROORKEE,NIT TRICHY as i wasn't able to clear the cutoff according to their requirements i got NITK SURATHKAL which was the best that i got i choosed the other colleges because of their higher placement records more average salary packages and the most OG thing is that i wanted the IITian tag but i had also got a seat allocated in IIT BHU in metallurgy but i didnt wanted to take it and finally i chose NITK SURAATHKAL because it near to my hometown Banglore and the weather is very good there it has a privatre beach along with a light house many places to visit around NITK SURATHKAL mainly a very big campus of aroung 300 acres and multiple number of sports opportunities it has 2 gym .
