A large number of clubs are there to enhance the quality of students and to support them
Good labs and technologies are there which helps students in their studies as well as projects

The timing between exams are not enough long to grasp things

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is under KTU and we are not getting enough time to study as they are running to complete the syllabus in a short time. I think more time is required to cover the vast syllabus and to study them properly

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is generally 7000 per yr. There are other fees like exam fee and semester fee for each sem which would come nearly aroud 3500 each. There are a number of scholarships provided by the government like egrantz MCM eyc. Our college is well known for the placements they are providing

Campus Life

The library provided by our college contains a large wide variety of collections. Our college is also rich in technological aspects. There are a large number of clubs provided for the students. The three main events conducted by our college are Disha, Drishti And Dhwani. These events are quite famous in almost all colleges in kerala

Hostel Facilities

Our college hostel is quite affordable according to other private hostels nearby. But the hygiene is not there. The food quality is poor but better than the other hostels. Our college hostel is located near the college premises itself

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

The eligibility of the course is 12 th grade and the admission of the course is only through the exam KEAM. Reservations are there for SC St, OEC and OEC... The exam is held every year generally after 12 th final exam time. It includes subjects like physics chemistry maths..

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
