Course Curriculum Overview

3

Our curriculum strictly follows 2019 scheme of ktu . Curriculum is best at a time worst also . Because they provide syllabus which is used for past 20 years . There is no updation in our syllabus. So we want to study old items . We are not teached about new updates things in technology field . However next year onwards our college is going to be autonomous and there is a chance to make our own curriculum and exam . The time of our sem exam is about 3hours and internal exam is about 2 hours

Placement Experience

2

Here placements are very few . However companies are coming and hiring students in order to their needs . Main companies are IBM , tata , Wipro etc . My main plan is to prepare for gate and go to any iit for my post graduation. But placements are there , but very low .

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is a government aided college , So our tution fee is comparatively low . Here we have a tution fee about 9650 . But those who belongs to SC ST OEC can pay 1000 rupees per year . So it's a great advantage to the students who belongs to these categories. Campus employment is comparatively low . Low packages a coming here . Scholarships like e grantz, snehapoorvam , SC scholarships are also available And in terms of scholarships this college is best . But when we talk about placements this is bad . Really bad

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is really wonderful here . But our management is very strict . They makes so many restrictions over girls . Girls cannot come to college after 6 30 . And there are so many clubs here . Nss , film club ,ieee, iot, asme like so many technical as well as cultural clubs are here . Our college is very supportive towards sports and facilities , here is also a swimming pool for practising swimming . However college life is very good for boys , but poor for girls

Hostel Facilities

2.5

College have 4 mens hostel and 2 women hostel .but it's very hard for first years to get into college hostel because there are only small amount of seat for first years in college hostel. I am now staying in a private college . College hostel is very fabulous . I provides a nice vibe there . The fees is about 5500 . But there is a hostel called dj which is specifically for second year boys . And it cost around 7000 rupees

Admission

The main eligibilty criteria is you want to pass your higher secondary examination and also you want to pass an entrance exam named KEAM. If you have enough mark in this exam , you can have apply for several government colleges and other private colleges in Kerala . Also plus two marks also plays a key role in this exam because they consider this mark and they mix the mark we get in entrance and at last they will produce a whole mark out of 600 . I get 365 and i got this college . The entrance exam is out of 800. There are so many benefits for so many castes . I belongs to obc , that's really a big benefit because they consider several categories and produce category rank list . And this helps the students who got lower marks in exam to get into a higher college .When we speak about the difficulty level of exam it is moderate tough , it's easier than jee mains and bitsat .

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
