My course is very interesting and it's an evergreen course. There's a lot focus on application level learning.after 3rd semester students can enroll into research programs..and internships with well known companies. After 5th sem we have the option of elective courses.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides us internship facilities from 5th semester itself with good companies.As I am still in the 1st semester haven't experienced any internship.but I have heard that the average stipend is 25000 to 30000

Placement Experience

The placement in our college is one of the best in our states more than 100 companies visit our campus some of them are Oracle ,Cisco,mercedes etc and the highest package is 30 lakh per annum

College Events

There are many events conducted in the college each branch of engineering have their own nationwide recognized clubs . There are many cultural groups also and also adventure clubs. Every year annual college fest JACIYANA is conducted and even international stars perform .college management gives full support.average foot fall is 3000 to 4000 even more

Fee Structure And Facilities

The government fee is 56000 and college fee is 33400 and depends on the reservation category also.For aided seats the government fee is 19000 and the management fee is 250000

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about any loans or scholarship by college but as many companies visit our college they provide their own scholarships. But the college helps in availing government scholarships and loans

Hostel Facilities

I am not residing in hostel. The hostel rooms are of sharing type we have wifi facility over there .the rooms are good but not great .they have no PG facilities.food is good but not great

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

We have one of the best alumni network . And the interaction is also good. Many successful alumni come to our college events as chief guests and inspire us and expose us to ample opportunities that are available. The alumni do contribute in the overall development of students.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are well experienced and are very friendly..they are always there to help us .But some of the faculty members need to improve their approach towards the students...I'll rate the teaching 8 marks out of 10

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Electronics and Instrumentation branch is truly underrated!

The admission process to this branch will be based on KCET only. Eligibility is 12th pass in science stream and should a Karnataka student to write kcet.
