I am very much fascinated to computer and love to know about it. Bit is doing a great job in enhancing my skill. Lab facilities are good. Bit mesra,lalpur branch is on 6th position in all over India for BCA course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes , this college provides internship. For engineering students they provide internship but not for ug students . Can't say anything about average stipend amount. But as bit has a brand so u think it provides good internship.

Placement Experience

For BCA placements are well but for other courses like engineering and all it is very good . Many companies visit here and provides an average package of 3.5 lacks to engineering students and for bca 1.8 lacks.

College Events

Pantheon is the technical event . Bitotsav is the cultural event . It's a mega event . It is organised in a very big amount. Many students from different colleges come.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Bit is quite expensive. Bca here cost almost 55000 to 65000 per semester. I can't say anything about other courses . Bit is a deemed university and here learning is also good so money doesn't matters a lot. It's placement is quite good for bca but for engineering it's excellent.

Yes the college provide scholarship to meritorious students.

I live in pg. Hostel is good but food is not up to the mark.

There are two timing shifts of exam morning and afternoon shift , mba students may have 2 exams in one day . The curriculum does not prepares you for real world application's. Need some internships and industrial exposure through college

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
