Course Curriculum Overview
I had a dream to learn coding for which I've chosen the BCA course and hope I'll achieve this dream. The facilities are good and some are average. Many facilities are available for different courses. Faculty to students ratio is 25-1 which is quite good. All the subjects teachers have good knowledge but if a student wants to learn deeply about his/her subject he/she has to join some special classes or say, tuition classes. The maths teacher is not soo good. There were 2 exams held in 6 months - internal and external paper. Exams are strict and if one focuses on college study material he/she can easily pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
For the student, welfare college gives us a chance to use our knowledge and implement them on real-life projects by providing us with internships. Companies like Deloitte, PHP, etc give internship opportunities to students and pay them according to the project.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Different courses have different fee structures you can find them on the college website only. BCA course fee is 60000/yr (two semesters) which is the best fee. Scholarships were also provided to the students in which college assist the students to apply for the same. One most common scholarships are the E-Kalyan scholarship from the Jharkhand government.
Campus Life
In terms of sports and extracurricular college is good. But in terms of the annual fest and culture festival college is not so good. The campus size is decent, 2-3 gardens are there on the campus and there is a good place to spend time in the evening. Overall decent campus life. No clubs were there.
Admission
Admission is generally based on 12th marks and a general interview. And according to opted course, some subject marks were asked, like I've chosen BCA therefore for BCA maths is a must and students should have 40% marks in their 12th standard. Students can find application form on the college official website (nsuniv.ac.in) and can easily apply for the respective courses. For further admission process students have to visit. college City office located at Sakshi market.
