Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I rate the course curriculum 3 out of 5. The reason is the curriculum is more theory oriented. Cse curriculum helps us to solve real world problems making the processes easier through online approach. We can get good amount of salary in this field and can maintain a good lifestyle. The curriculum make us capable to transit the idea in mind to practical application and helps to solve problems in society. we have industrial visits and other seminaars to gain some practical knowle As I told the curriculum is more theory oriented we have to learn skills ourselves by youtube or other platforms. the curriculum only teaches the basic of programming languages we need to learn it by ourselves. The curriculum can be improved making it practical oriented and making it updated according to evolution in this field. Talking about exams we have two internals and one final semester exams in every semester. The difficulty level of exam is average.you can pass it easily studying one week before exam.

Internships Opportunities

2

I am a second year student so i do not have more information about the companies and roles offered under internships but one of my seniors has got internship in oracle through college. At the end of final everyone has to submit their personal projects .

Placement Experience

3

I think from 7th semester student become eligible for campus placement. The average package is around 7 lakhs and the highest package till now is 42 lakhs i think. 90 % student have got placed in the year 2020. My plan after degree is if i get college placement then its fine otherwise i will go abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total tution fee for 2022 batch is 11 lakhs for four years of btech. I think there is no more availability of scholarships. The tution fee increases by about 25 to 50 thousands per year. this is not the exact number. The complete cost of education reaches almost 18 lakhs including exam fee, hostel fee , tution fees. I do not have more information about financial assistance , or campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

4

Recently we have cultural and technical events on the occasion of infinity. every year in the month of march we have infinity. There are different clubs like dance club , painting club , music club etc The library offer varieties of books We could easily get it from the library but we need id card. The classrooms are upgraded with the technology. faculties use projectors to teach and wifi is provided for every classroom. talking about sport and extracurricular activities , the campus provide oppurtunities to take part in like cricket , football, basketball etc. The senior students run social groups ,clubs etc. The overall infrastructure is good.

Admission

The admission process was simple. The eligibility criteria is you should have passed +2 in science.your collective PCM marks should be above 60%. I do not have any idea about reservation benefits but ha if you are international student you can get direct admission through management quota. you do not need to take any entrance exam. You can apply online for admission. You have to take a entrance exam and pass it for admission. Entrance exam's difficulty level is average so you can easily pass it with basic concept of pcm.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 4th year as placement training occurs in 3rd year(6th semester). There are multiple companies like Infosys, Oracle, ABC, HP, Adobe and many other companies that visit our college for placements. The highest package was 56 LPA and the placement percentage is about 80 to 95% so there is a strong chance of placement in RNSIT.

Placements in our college are pretty good with the average package being around 10 lakhs. Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Mock interviews are conducted in order to prepare us for the real interviews.

Placement Experience:

Regarding placements , students are eligible from third sem for IT branches and 6th sem for non IT branches based on how they develop their skills. There is also a memorandum of understanding or m o u with different companies by our college which encourages internships but basically we have to skill up ourselves which the IT branch students can easily do . Core branch students are eligible from 6th semester as their skills are not developed because there the subjects are more and the concept building wouldn't have happened till 6th sem. Hence we are eligible from 6th semester. This time the placements are really good core branches have got the highest placements in triple e that is electrical and electronics engineering out of 90 students 86 students have been placed which is setting a record in the college placement history for IT branches though the packages not as much as 40 LPA, a package would range from 3 to 15 lpa by companies like thought works Infosys LTTS etc. I have my future plan is to get placed in a good company work there for few years to gain professional experience and do my masters.

Placements of our college was an average because our college is located in rural area and companies were not ready to come to that rural place but our placement officer used to try very hard in order to help students and get placed in well company. During the last year i.e, 7th semester palcements used to come and depending on our eligibilty we attented the interviews. My plans after the degree completion was to do software courses and join in software company because i did electrical and eletronics engineering.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNSIT are decent and consistent, especially for CS-related branches. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts training programs including aptitude tests, coding practice, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions to prepare students. Many reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and some product-based companies visit the campus. The highest package in recent years has gone above 20 LPA (mostly for CS/IT related roles), while the average package ranges between 4–6 LPA depending on the branch. Most offers are for roles like Software Developer, System Engineer, Analyst, and Associate Engineer.
