Likes

No ragging in campus and seniors are quite supportive
I very much like my Chemistry teacher , he is HOD and very enthusiastic, it feels that he enjoys teaching
The lush green campus is very beautiful and relaxing , also there are holidays on Saturdays and Sundays

Dislikes

The class timings that start at 8:30 am and gym that starts at 7:00 am
I faced problem with network due to which I had to port my sim
In physics lab we are not taught about the experiment , we have to do everything on our own

Once professor told that somethings are inculcated in practical labs after consultation from industries so maybe the course is relevant to some extent.Exams in the semester are held thrice two mid semester and one end semester exam.

Placement Experience

My plans after getting degree right now is to work with the company where I am placed. Maybe students in 6th sem become eligible for placements. Placements in core companies is great. In tech field placements are lucrative but competitive

Fees and Financial Aid

In even semester I had to submit 75k as tuition fee and 35000 is the hostel mess Fee for a semester, there do is scholarship available for students. I have not taken campus employment as I am in first year

Campus Life

Technical fest techspardha and cultural fest confluence is held once a year, books are available in library in ample amount and also of good quality, sports facilities are also great and swimming pool is also there, there are also many great clubs and they do have a good impact on students as it helps them network with people outside their department.

Hostel Facilities

Meal quality is relatively good as compared to other colleges. 126 rupees is charged for three meals. Hostel registration is done during physical reporting. There is LAN facility in the room that is great as there was internet cut for 13 straight days so we had LAN for internet

Admission

The admission process was quite long and irritating, to be eligible for this course you are supposed to give Jee mains but some students also came from Dasa, jee mains is conducted 2 in a year, maybe some of the admission process can be done online

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
