Experience at Jssate.

Electronics and communication is a course in trend which includes the field of automation, Embedded systems,Vlsi design and etc which attracted me to choose this course. This course teaches the basics of Electronics strongly which makes me fit for the core Electronic companies which hire Electronics students. Labs equipments can be improved more in the analog and digital laboratory. In my perspective, the current system of examination is right for the students.

Around 100 companies visit college. Companies like amazon, betsol, cognizant, intel, hsbc and other companies come to hire students. Average package is 500000 per annum and the highest package till date is 4500000 per annum. Around 90 percent of students get placed every year but there is a decrease in the number since last year due to recession. My plans after degree is to do masters and work in the placed company simultaneously.

Fees structure is of 3 different types. Cet entry, comedk entry and the management. Since im from the cet, my fees is 112000 per year including the cet fees and the college fees. Scholarship can be applied only for the people whose family income is lesser than 200000 per annum. I think they can change the conditions for application of Scholarship and make it available to the students who study well and secure good marks and cgpa. There is campus placements that will start in the 3rd year of the course where companies comes to the college to hire students with good marks and skills to their companies.

In jssate, in the month of June, annual fest called Verve is celebrated where students get to perform on the main stage in front of the whole college and many big singers, Bands and celebrities are invited. Other college students are also welcomed to enjoy the fest in our college. We celebrate other departmental fests like Atharva is the fest of electronics and communication department. The college library provides books on all the relevant courses in the college which helps the students a lot. There are also many hackathon programs arranged frequently. Within the classroom there is sufficient desks and good air circulation. There is also a smart board which helps the teachers to convey the topics in a better way. We also have sports like cricket, basketball, badminton, kabaddi, chess, table tennis, tennis, carrom .Also the winners are announced. There are many student clubs for western dance, eastern dance, music, art, photography and etc.

Jssate college has a big and sufficient campus for all the necessary courses like branches of engineering and also Management studies. It provides good quality education to the students of all the branches like Cse, Ise, Ece, Aiml, Mechanical, Civil, Robotics. Labs provide necessary equipments to perform the experiments and the number of computer systems is sufficient for one whole class to attend at a time. The teacher faculties and the lab attenders are supportive and are helpful for the students to gain knowledge about the subjects. Also the regular tests are conducted in order to help the students to improve in their tests. Placements take place during the 3rd year of the course and more than 90 percent get placed in goid companies.
