Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a bit complex , for a newbie as a coder, he/she can face difficulty at the beginning of the course. But student can become used to it as the course proceeds further. The duration of the course and difficulty level is a bit complex.

As I am not interested then final year, I didn't know much about the placements. As of my knowledge the placement process is normal. Most companies visit the campus and select students across fields..

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very high at this university, a middle class backgrounds student may face difficulty to afford that much of fee and some may not afford. Fir that President of GEU have build another university at state level and provides 20 percent scholarship for uttarakhand domicile students.

Campus Life

Here you can find many clubs like papertech, NSS, swaragni, kavyanjali,etc. Engagement in club is easy just you have to give a interview. But you must have a relevant experience in that activity as it may increase your chances of selection.

Admission

The admission process was smooth, the eligibility of the course was 80 percent in PCM 10+2. The application form was available online as well as offline at the campus. The frequency of exams was 2 per semester and difficulty level is medium.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

The placements of the students in the college is satisfactory. This year the students of third year grabbed a placement of 18 LPA . Wipro and TCS visits the campus frequently. The highest package is of 43 LPA and the average stands at 6-7 LPA.. the percentage of the placements is nearly 90-95%..

No rejection as GEU was my choice of College. I though gave that just for fun as it was decided long back that I will take admission in GEU. So, GEU top has its entrance but direct admission are also there if someone don't want any scholarship or anything. GEU is a dream University!

At GEU, and specifically for our course there are no hiccups or issues as we gets admission directly. Also, on the basis of our PCM as those subjects are mandatory to enroll in our course. GEU has the best Placements!

In most cases it is direct but University also has its own entrance exam as well. Even other entrance scores are evaluated and based on that scholarships are also provides. So, I took admission Directly as there are around 800 seats for CSE and students can get admission easily here if they have over 80 or more in PCM in 12th....Read More
