Likes

College has big playground and has all the games.
Parking place is big and has no issue in parking.
Infrastructure is well developed and is clean.

Dislikes

Silence is not strictly maintained in library .
Canteen is really bad and food is worst.

Course Curriculum Overview

In this fastly changing world the need of electronics engineer is increasing day by day that's the reason I choose these field and it covers both the core subjects and it subjects that can help you in building your career. In sem exams are conducted every month while the same exams are conducted at the end of every sem.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Company such as Flipkart Amazon offers internship regularly students are given internship based on their role and keeping branch in the mind which may help them in the future from there placement point of view.

Placement Experience

College has an average package of 7 likes where company as TCS Wipro, Mahindra and Mahindra approaches annually. Students up to 80-90% are guaranted placement. The placement cell offers internship time to time.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure differs every year in the current year the fees is about 110000. The students we economically backward class negative scholarship which covers their 50% of tuition fee and they may get different scholarship if they stay on hostels or PG.

Campus Life

Different annual festivals are celebrated along the year such as annual gethering sports weekend and traditional day the college has National level festival known as WITchar. A group of student run NSS club which is managed by themselves and they held a programs like blood donation camps and more.

Admission

Institute addresses to the schedule declared by the government and disseminates timeline of admission process to the candidate. It is a decent college in Solapur city which has good library and has advantage for Jain minority at 70 to 75% of seats are result for those students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
