WIT Solapur Short Review

The cource is a bit old fashioned... But as the college is autonomous the syllabus changes ... The improvement needed is to change the old syllabus which is left far behind the new cources and implement it practically

Students can apply for internships from 3rd year... The faculty also helps in interships of students and the overall interships provided are up to the mark... Students get an idea of industrial world and get placed if their work and skills meet the companys expectations

The placement is good ... Companies come for placements but due to lack of skills most of the candidates are rejected ... But average 5lpa is offered here ... Companies like IBM, Byjus, Amazon are visiting every year ... The students placement ratio is around 50%

As my college is a Jain minority college so the cutoff for reserved castes is low as compared to general... The fees structure is around 1,28,000 for open category and for EBC, reserved caste it's around 70000... Overall it's fine

Campus life is overall good... There are many coding clubs and other clubs... Technical fests and hackathon are conducted ... Cultural events like ATHARVA are here... Also sports events are conducted everyear , cricket , volleyball, football , basketball are here

The hostel facilities are outstanding... The hostel is under 500m and the hostel has big spacious room... It has 2seater as well as 4 seater rooms ... Both hostel are in the same campus ... Facilities like Wifi, hot water , drinking water , and mess is available... The hostel is affordable as it's 3000rs per month ... And mess is 2600rs per month... Which is also affordable

I choose this college as it was a minority college and I had secured 85% in CET exam and I could get seat in CSE so I went for it... Anyone can enter my college through JEE, or MHT-CET... Being a minority college it is up to the mark

Overall the faculty is good... Their methods of teaching is advanced and they do it well, there's no such problem with the faculty ... The faculty to sumdents ratio is around 1: 60... Which is a plus point for us ...it's not that hard to clear exams but u need to study well or else ????

Night life is good... Anyone can roam around freely , there are cafes and restaurants near and also a new turf has opened right in front of the college ... The famous places to visit are Siddeshwar temple ... Hostel campus is also good and the hostel is near the college so everyone reaches on time
