Placements - Many companies visits the college for placements which gives students the industrial exposure
Infrastructure - College has a big infrastructure. There are huge buildings for different departments
Events - Many cultural and technical events Happen in colledge

Dislikes

Colledge rules are very strict. Though it's good for development of students but sometimes it feels burden
Canteen doesn't have variety of food. They can improve on taste
Uniform - College doesn't have uniform which is I think important

Course Curriculum Overview

The ENTC course is exciting and very diverse. Course curriculum is very well structured for the benefits of the students. It includes practical sessions along theoretical lectures. This helps students to get practical knowledge.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available in the college. Companies like TATA, Vipro, NVIDIA, Google, Amazon, flipkart and many more. Junior engineer with stipend of rs .25000, and projects are conducted every year for all branches

Placement Experience

There are many on-campus placements held in college. Students become eligible for placements from 6th semester onwards based on the mini project they've done in the 3rd year. There're many companies visiting the college like Vipro, TATA, DELL, Renu electronics etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is exactly same as mentioned on the website. The tution fees for General category students is around Rs. 90,000. There are other charges as youth festival, library fee deposit, caution money deposit, etc. There are different types of scholarships available department wise like EBC, VJNT, etc.

Campus Life

The college supports technical and cultural events. WITCHAR is one of the national level technical event held in March. Strokes is sports event which includes games like Cricket, football, basketball, etc. Atharva is cultural event which includes dancing, singing, drama which is held in January.

Admission

The admission process to get into Walchand Institute of technology is through the CET Exam. It's open till 2-3 after the results of CET are declared. There is online portal of CET cell for filling up admission form of any college. There are 51% seats reserved for Jain minority. The exams are taken every month called as In Semester examination and the difficulty level is moderate. The admission process is transparent and there is no any need to improve it.
