Likes

I like the over all university, as they provide n number of things. Starting with fest to many more
There are many teams like, media team, Promethean team, technical team
In college we all are celebrating almost all the festival, lile pongal holi etc

Dislikes

The class benches are too small according to aur height
We have to weight until the lab is no open
Our canteen is not hygiene, as in the canteen area there are 3-4 dogs

Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm too interested in doing skills like coding that's why I choose this as a course. The curriculum teaches & provides us the mini project ,by the real time projects through coding. There is no suggestions for improvement.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 132 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are too many companies provide the internship program with stipend, but as I am not getting the time I didn't go through any of the internship, but in our whatsaap group, our HOD provide the internship link, through which I gain information.

Placement Experience

May be from 3rd or 4th sem students are eligible for placement, as the college give as the internship programs. There is no such companies like that, they visit and no offer made. I don't know about the highest and average package as per company.

Fees and Financial Aid

They include tuttion fees about 20k . The complete course fees is 1 lakh thirty two thousands, all include such as tuttion fees, service fees, and other charges. Campus provide us with more numbers scholarships .

Campus Life

My college provide more festival like Promethean, technical team, media team. There are n number of books that college are providing us, with zero rupee, but if we give late then they are take 5rs charge for per day.

Admission

The admission process was to simple, we just submit all the 10th , 12th documents and MH-CET score sheet to respective office, and we had upload all the documents in the computer too. I don't think there will be any cut-off, I go through tamil quota (a minority) so I entered through minority. The admission process I don't like is we have the wait in queue for a long time

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. SIES A Honing Edge for young minds

I had applied for MIT pune and VIT after the jee and cet exams I never recieved any feedback from MIT. However i recieved 31000 rank in VITEE and thus applied for the admission process. However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score.
