Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's really good, I can't say all the professors are good but few are so good , the way they teach is interesting. Good lab facilities. I am 2nd year, still I don't know about placements. I recommend you to do more project related works in aerospace . About everything I can give 7/10

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about scholarship. Fees structure 1st year 270000 2nd year 250000 3rd year 250000 4th year 250000 If you didn't pay fees on correct time after 2nd year, They will not give attendance and not let you attend classes.

Campus Life

4.5

I don't know more about this. But all the clubs are like group people from same state take all the control and decision , so as another state and different language person getting opportunity is not easy . They not give important to sports and fund for sports. In morning , i can't able to see any student on the ground. Less than 10 people like Frisby players and athletes. Cultural are so grand , I don't know much about Cultural but 2 weeks before Cultural will full of practices and events. 2023 uni gave 80 lakh for Cultural but student had doubt that is it really 80.. Only 50 lakhs may be, we don't know who took 30 lakh. They will not invite big celebrity as chief guest. Only influencers from Instagram. Hostel life Best, best best best, no words to express those days. If I want to say anything ,Only "go and live hostel" Uni is full of nature , good for running at early morning.. for nature alone 10/10. Gym - not big one, always crowded, they telling they will build new one .

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms are space of 3 bed and 3 spacious cupboards, 2 room combined balcony. No table for three sharing. They mention water is filtered, but its not tast like ro. They have cooling system, but sometimes it will not work. On third floor , big balcony will be there. Everything what I said is on inside the campus hostel. Don't take outside hostel, not good. Washing machine facilities also there .

Admission

I know about admissions process through website and fill the form online. Then I got call from university regarding fees structure, availability of seat in aerospace and admission proceess but they just make every process in hurry, they are like " we only have 2 seats left, confirm your seat through online" We didn't take that serious, we went to university directly, they told main campus is outer from city. You need to go there. We submitted the documents etc.. it took around half day. Recommended to take all the Xerox copies outside the campus before going to campus. Hostel process went so bad, they didn't give a proper responses. They didn't treat us properly like warden was just ignoring my parents, he had bad attitude. In payment process , people are just making it hurry, they not even wait for 30 minutes. They like " we will allot room only when you pay the full amout " . We paid more than 80% fee even though, Then they alloted temporary room, My parents are not happy

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
