Likes

Teachers are quite good . Their way of teaching is fine .
Hostel Life is good . College hostel has three for boys and one for girls

Dislikes

Lesser number of events and programmes .
Some teachers are strict with assignments homework etc.
For girls college should provide more accomodation

I had given electrical and electronics and civil engineering as my options . But I actually wanted to get civil . I was very fond of buildings and structures and wanted to know how these are actually made .

Internships Opportunities

Many companies in and around ernakulam have offered internships in the college . Every year we have to attend internships for certain days . Every year there will be one industrial visit . Towards the end of the fourth year project will be done

Placement Experience

Many companies in and around the world have recruited students and alumnis from the college . Last year for the chandrayaan mission a total of fifty - five people were from this college from various branches . Students start getting placed by the middle of 3rd semester . Many students have also started their own start-ups

Fees and Financial Aid

Maximum 20000 fees for one year. We need to give only exam fees for each semester separately . I took hostel room . There are many scholarships available under the state and central government schemes . Students having reservations also have concessions etc.

Campus Life

Takshak the tech festival and Sanskriti arts festival are the two main fests of the college Takshak is held in November and Sanskriti in March - April . Library has a wide range of books from engineering to fiction . Sports are held and workshops and webinars are held frequently . There are many clubs for dance , music , nss , etc.

Hostel Facilities

I got hostel outside the college which is not that far from it . Fees is about 5000 to 6000 . Food is of average quality . Mess cut was provided only for long vacations and semester breaks . Maximum of three persons in one room

Admission

One must have passed 12th class and qualified KEAM entrance exam. Details of the exam are available on the website cee.kerala.gov.in I didn't have any reservation Exam was offline and divided into 2 shifts in the same day . Exam was difficult than previous year's

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
