Likes

The college is vast so there are many places for students to chill
attendance is not an issue compared to other colleges
easy to score marks in exams even if you are a average student

Dislikes

no main programs or fest are conducted by college
hostels are bad and they won't provide good food
so hard to reach college if you are not in hostel as the college is located in the outskirts of banglore

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is kinda easy, easy to clear exams with good marks there are placements and internships available. the exams are conducted in terms so it's easy to score good cgpa. some of the faculties are good at teaching and some are not. We have semesters based exams and there are 2 semesters per year.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Internships Opportunities

internships start from second to third year's currently there are no stipends for students some of the big companies come for placements like Microsoft, Java, byjus etcc..... some of the students will get the opportunity to get placements in japan for 50 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

the total fee for one year is two lakhs and seventy five thousand and there are internships starting from third year and there are good placements to Japan and other countries you can pay the fees through emi's every month

Campus Life

only one main fest is conducted every year and it's kinda average compared to another colleges. the sports teams are quite good and there are tournaments conducted many clubs are also there and programs are conducted accordingly

Hostel Facilities

hostels are quite good but expensive only veg foods are available the mess food is kinda bad i would opt for pg or flats outside there are 2 hostels and both are average for the price they ask there is two and three sharing rooms

Hostel Fee: INR 175000 per year

Admission

You should clear ju entrance exam to get admission in the college it is conducted online and the questions are mcq's the admission process is quite long you have to submit all the certificates to the college and the process is exhausting

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
