Likes

The college have a very nice placements.
College also have library with the intake capacity of 250 to 300 students at a time.
College fest is fantastic and joyful . And the sports events are the best.

Dislikes

The college is little bit far and bus frequency is moderate.
Sometimes there is ragging is seen but certain action is also taken on it.
Some of the working staff members have an a appropriate behaviour.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main motive to choose this course is my interest in the web development . And as we can see in this daily basis and even for coperate sector have a high demand and AI Is conquering everywhere. The course is of 4 year and 8 semester. Each semester have a gap of 6 months.

The college have the best placement group and tries there best. The average package is of 350000 per annum. And the highest package is of 1750000 per annum. Many reputed companies such as MAHINDRA, TCS , TATA ,etc . Give nice and best opportunity. Many projects was done by the students during this time many of students performs project online and get paid for it. There is also the opportunity of paid and unpaid internship.

The student are applicable for the interview session from the 6 th semester in which many companies such as TCS , MAHINDRA, KOTAK, CAT ,etc offers nice package. The average package is of 350000 per annum and the highest package is of 1750000 per annum. And the percentage of students getting admission is of 55% . Many students also goes for paid internship.

The fee structure is simple and easily available on the website of college. The fee for one year is 91000 for general category students. Various categories depending on the caste and reservations there is relaxation in the fees is seen. There is various scholarships which is offered by the college. The college also have a very good placement group.

There are many fest is the college. Not only the college but also many festival is celebrated. In the college there is also many sports events in the college. And various competitions is held during the fest and festivals the college is decorated nicely. There is also NSS group in the college which performs various activities.

The eligibility of the course is 10+2 with entrance such as JEE , CUET ,CUCET. Further process of addmission was undertaken by the website of CU University. There is many reservations category which helps to provide seats. And give relaxation in the fee structure. The overall addmission process is easy

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
