Remarks

It is always good when we talk about our college day for all the experience we had there in college. The college management was also very good.

Entrance Preview

CUSAT (CAT) : - One has to write PCM (Physics , Chemistry ,Math) tests ( Objective). They prepare a ranking and call students for counseling . Students' will get to know what stream he can get ( free seat or payment seat).

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course Curriculum is Fantastic, even faculties are also good. 50% of faculties are PHD. They are very punctual and attend classrooms regularly. They help each and every students who walks in for help.

Internships Opportunities

I don't remember the name about companies. Few local companies came for IT streams student. Most of students arranged their internship on their own at that time . I don't know the current scenario about internship but placement is fantastic and the degree from that institute has a good market value.

Placement Experience

4.5

IN 2006 almost 90% of students were placed during campus placement. Companies like IBM,CTS,TCS, Wipro,Infosys,Sasken,Tavant, HP, LnT , Subex,CGI ,Hexaware, Accenture, Satyam and many more visited our campus and picked good number of students .

College Events

5

At that time we were celebrating culture events as well as science events. Students were presenting seminars on most recent developments in the field of technology . Frankly saying i don't remember the exact name but there were many such events, which were happening at that time. The participation was high from student's end and we also got sponsors form them. We launched one newsletter called Enix at that time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much feasible. It has two kinds of structure free and payment. Earlier it was 7.5 k per semester for free seats and 18 k for payment seats semester wise. It is still in the same kind of structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not very sure on this. But few of my classmates took loans from SBT (state bank of Travancore). One can verify on this with college or banks.

Campus Life

4

College life is fantastic. It has 70:30 gender ratio. They arrange workshop for student. There are so many foreign language courses as well. Student can enroll for those courses as well.

Hostel Facilities

4

There were no boys hostel that time but Girls hostels were there. There are affordable rooms, PG in nearby places. Peoples are also very cooperative. Average rentals are about 1.5 k to 2k. It is quite less if we compare from metro cities. I remember i got

Alumni/Alumna

Initially there were gaps within Alumni and our batch. But it became smooth once we went into second year. We had a very transparent and friendly interactions with our juniors and seniors.

Exam Structure

It is quite hectic. One won't get sufficient time once exam dates are published. One has to keep oneself ready for those pressures. The college has a good lab facility which many colleges don't have, if we look outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
