Our university provides a well-structured course curriculum, tailored to equip you with the skills necessary for the real world. The academic year consists of two semesters.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course Fees : INR 240000 per year After completing 5 semesters, students can sit in placement sessions. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Asenchar, PlaySimple, Infosys, Wipro, Flipkart, Tata, TCL, and many more participate. The highest package offered is 1.7 crore, with a national CTC of 54 lakh and an average CTC of 7 lakh. Every year, more than 9000 students participate in placements, with over 80 percent securing jobs, sometimes reaching 100 percent. My goal is to work with a reputable company and eventually establish my own.

Campus Life

Our university campus boasts excellent facilities. Throughout the year, numerous events enrich campus life. Students have the opportunity to join and participate in various clubs. Additionally, there is a dedicated sports complex on campus offering all sports with professional coaching available. Furthermore, almost every academic building houses a library.

Admission

The admission process was pretty easy. After filling out a short form, a counselor calls you and assists with the entire admission process. Additionally, you can take a scholarship test, and based on your score, you can receive relaxation with academic fees, with the possibility of obtaining a scholarship of up to 100%.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
