Campus life is good. The faculty is very helpful.
Every sport is available. Sports complex is very big.
There are many clubs you can join. Students are also very helpful to each other.

Course Curriculum Overview

IT sector is growing rapidly in India. If you choose this course there is high chances you'll be in a good position in you mid age. In our university course curriculum is good. Our syllabus is prepared according to the skills you'll need in real world. There are 2 semester per year.

There are many options for internship available. There are free as well as paid internship for your experience. University updates us time to time with all the opportunities you can grab to expand your experience in work life.

Placement Experience

University provides you campus placement. Campus placement are decent. Average pakage is 6 lpa. University also provides you internships. After 3rd year you are eligible for the campus placement. You just have to maintain your cgpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tution fee is 120000 per semester. There is a scholarship test which we can give to get relaxation in tution fee. According to your test score you can get scholarship upto 100%. There are also options available for loans. Councilors are available all the time for assistance.

Campus Life

Campus of our university is good. About campus life many events happen through the year. There are many clubs students can join and participate. There is a separate sports complex in the campus. All sports are available with professional coaches. There is library in almost every academic building.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are decent neither good nor bad. Food in hostel mess is also decent. If you want rented accommodation there are n number of options available for that also. Hostels have 3,4,5 seater rooms available with Ac and without both. Hostel fee for 5 seater is 135000 per year. For 3 seater it is 160000 per year with Ac.

Admission

Admission process was preety easy. Councilor calls you after you fill a short form of admission. Councilor helps you out with whole admission process. We can also give a scholarship test. According to your test score you will get relaxation with academic fee. You can get scholarship upto 100%.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
