I at present studying civil engineering in this college and the course is fabulous if you have interest in it. There was much more practical learning.

Internships Opportunities

Yah there was a separate cell to carry out these internship activities. And the stipend is provided based on our theme. College is providing very good internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

There were training and placement center on our campus. And there was about 70% of students are placed in the core companies.

College Events

PECOFES this is the college fest.EDIFICE this was a civil department fest and each department conduct their fest and fresher's.

Fee Structure And Facilities

20000- 40000 based on which year you are studying. The fee varies for other states and local students. For the local, the students' fee will be less when compared to other states.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides the scholarship for the SC/STs. I am not getting any benefit by this as we were upper-class people.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I am a hostler and their persons in my room. PG hostels are also available. We pay nearly 65000 for the hostel.

Yes, we have a frequent contact with the alumni in the form of some interaction programs.

Faculty

Ph.D. is the qualification of our professors.and their experience is nearly 30 years approximately. Their teaching standard is good.

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
