Curriculum was very relevant. We had all the important programming languages and algorithms. Our curriculum focused on both theoretical and practical subjects. We have 3 labs each semester. Some lab courses aren't there in theory classes which makes it much a little difficult to understand. So it would be helpful if we had same subjects for both theory and practical. There is a midsem and endsems of 30 and 50 marks respectively. Remaining 20 marks comes from assignment and quizzes.

Companies prefer students about 8.5 cgpa for internships. Internship opportunities is soley based on cgpa. Not everyone ends up with internship and the ones who do get not everyone gets a stipend. Students project clubs help students to come up with various innovative and creative projects which are quite useful for placement

7th semester students are eligible for placement. 93% of students have been placed. Companies prefer students over 7.5 cgpa without any backlogs. Highest package - 54 lpa. Average - 12 lpa. I would like to work for 2 years and then pursue masters.

5.09Lakhs per year. 5% increment per year for newer batches. There is a scholarship for people studying 11th and 12th grade in mahe institutes where they have separate counselling and fees based on cutoff rank.

March - revels where many artists like standup comedian, models, playback singers come. There are many competition (including sports and cultural) held for the students as well. March - Student utsav is a overall competition among mahe colleges. February - manipal entrepreneurship summit. October - techtatva which includes hackathon and many coding related workshops and conceptions. Mit library is quiet big and all kinds of books are accessible including novels and textbooks. There are individual and group study hall dedicated for students to study. Every classroom has a projector. There are numerous clubs and student projects and sports team that students can be a part of.

Candidate must get minimum 60% in boards. Application form and information regarding it can be found in mit website There is no reservation. There are 2 attempts. It was moderately difficult. English being the easiest. Other 3 subjects includes maths chemistry and physics. Admission process was smooth and perfect
