Likes

I like the warm ambience of my college as it is in the top of hills they are really cool.
I like college infrastructure as it is a private college the architecture is really amazing and infront of college there is a beautiful garden.
Hostel rooms are neat and clean and canteen provides good and hygienic food.

Dislikes

I am not more satiisfied with campus placement because companies approaching our college are not that good.
Ktu colleges mainly focus on theoretical study than practical study
Faculties are fine but during end of semester they hurry up and finish portions very fastly and skip many

Course Curriculum Overview

There are more scopes in the it field .So choosing computer science in btech is a good option. Our college is under ktu university it mainly focuses on theoretical study and only less hours are there for practical study,practical study hour should be increased.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. Rise of beast

I had to pass the entrance exam KEAM to be eligible for engineering. The exam is very simple. anyone who passed 12 can easily pass the entrance exam. You can get the application from the official site of KEAM. The authority will inform you when the process will start. Application is fast and simple. Anyone can do it from their home with using theri computer. The application fees will be shown on the site. It is not that much at all. It is very less amount. You will not face any difficulties during the payment process. The application site is in simple format. Anyone can easily handle it. The only problem i think they have to improve is the site lags a bit when using. I don't if its my device's problem. But other than that everything is good.
