Remarks

Good. It depends purely how u are gonna handle your college life. After all everyone from different backgrounds n different schools joining together a new professional life all depends on how u handle ur academic years without back papers and good internal Marks

Course Curriculum Overview

5

While we were learning it was under kannur university and frankly they were not so regular in exam conducting n result publishing. Now its affiliated KTU and recognized AICTE, New Delhi. Lab and equipments were new and good during my times. Good and experienced professors and lab technicians were there. Good library was there where u can rent study materials.

Placement Experience

4

Yes I'm one among the person who got campus recruitment in tech support CSS Chennai 2009. It was hard during 2009 as recession was affected badly in India. But still 3 of them got in Infosys 4 in CSS and few from mechanical students got placement too in good companies in pune.

College Events

3.5

We had college day like annual day. Then every year some kind of inter college fest. And ofcourse politics do work here in this campus. U have strike for your rights. No ragging. And sports days was there. Hope even they have this all right now.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2005-2009 I had to pay 53000-54000 per year so for 4 year it was approximately 2.25lakh. Then other expenses like exam fee lab exam fee book fee all text books were expensive. Transportation charge like college bus fee. Now its higher than this I think around 1lakh per year or more than that.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I had loan from sbi students loan. College do all necessary requirements to get loan for a student if required. Also there are various scholarships for students too depending on eligibility criteria.

Campus Life

5

There was no extracurricular activities during my days. Politics do work with support of outsiders. I think it is ragging free campus now. Sports and other activities u can do but no special trainings provided. U have good labs for practicals with all latest equipments.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I was in payyanur n it's around 8km from home I opted college bus. Hostel I think it's not that expensive and it is good. It was hard to go out from girls hostel as it was inside college compound. there was no boys hostel at that time in the compound. Now I think they have both hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they do have a group in fb and they all help to know about latest career opportunities. They do make getogether. Only thing is we are now entirely different syllables. Now they have latest updated syllables.

Admission

I was 3rd batch of college. It is a self financing engineering college and only 4 courses where there at 2004-2011. There after now u have option for civil and also Mtech courses now. I got a seat by paying money. It was only 35000 for a seat in EEE. CSE 15000 ECE 25000 AND ME was 40000.

Faculty

4.5

All were good n there are new teachers who are my batch mates now working there. Recent updates I have no idea. But for sure u have good environment for technical course. Only thing u have to work hard for ur success.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
