Remarks

I chose this college because this college is having good facilities for a B.Tech student. This college is one of the best college in North Malabar. This college is affiliated to AICTE and approved by government of Kerala.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is up to date. Our faculties are very friendly to us. They would guide us and have always ready to clear out our doubts in the subjects. Our college have provided us with industrial exposure.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

The job opportunities are numerous, but the salary package is not as expected. After the course, there are many options like data analyst, software development, network engineer, game development. About 20% of the students get placement in companies.

College Events

I enjoyed the campus life. Our college have always promoted extra curricular activities. Events and festivals are conducted yearly by the college. Arts and sports day have been conducted regularly by our college in every year.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

I had to pass the entrance exam KEAM to be eligible for engineering. The exam is very simple. anyone who passed 12 can easily pass the entrance exam. You can get the application from the official site of KEAM. The authority will inform you when the process will start. Application is fast and simple. Anyone can do it from their home with using theri computer. The application fees will be shown on the site. It is not that much at all. It is very less amount. You will not face any difficulties during the payment process. The application site is in simple format. Anyone can easily handle it. The only problem i think they have to improve is the site lags a bit when using. I don't if its my device's problem. But other than that everything is good.
