Likes
- The focus on culture with modern studies and not forgetting our roots is the most beautiful thing of my college we've a temple inside campus and on events like class commencement of fairwell they distribute bhagwat geeta.
- The happenings like regular events, games, fests. Bhajans are mostly included in my college fests that gives a necessary message of always remembering our roots and never forgetting them.
- My college really emphasize on nature e.g there's a shelter for cows, ducks, rabbits, peacock, more than 50 plants, trees, flowers. A separate part of vegetable plantation and mushroom cultivation
Dislikes
- The old building's bathroom are in bad condition
- No availablity of drinking water, there's no good source and I can't trust that water for drinking
- Not any very active placement cell, which demotivates a little but one can always get job with their personality and skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I studied commerce I wanted to pursue either bcom hons or bcom program. I would say it's 6/10 in terms of real world applications of the curriculum. More practical knowledge should be given. I would say exam were hard but timing was okay.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fee for bcom hons is somewhat around 14400, I don't have any info regarding the hikes or regularities. I don't have the correct amount of my complete education but for one this was only the amount to be submitted and included everything, there's no hostel in college so I'm staying in PG and that cost is separate. There are some scholarasips by University for economic weaker section, the one I know is FSS which provides relaxation of 50% of fees. Regarding campus placements and job I don't have any info as I'm first year student.
Campus Life
There are societies in my college of different departments and different skills. Every society keep organising many events, fests within a month. There were also cultural fests took place in my college like Diwali fest, navratri fest,and departmental fest like comspect of commerce society. For library I would rate it 6/10. Facilities and technological provisions 6/10. Many sports are offered around 15, I would rate it 9/10. There's NSS which is student run social group.
Admission
Admission process was lengthy but not complicated, I appeared in CUET examination with subjects accountancy, business studies, economics, english. Application form can be found on samarth website, 1400 application fee, date keep shifting but we get enough time to fill and correct the form. I had OBC reservation and I got a little relaxation in marks. Exam was moderate and timings were okay. This process is lengthy and really checks our patience, I would suggest if delays can be avoided and website crashing can e corrected then it's all good.
