Course Curriculum Overview

The course covered a broad curriculum with a focus on practical aspects of electronics. The course prepares you for practical use cases and real-world applications of circuits. A little bit more lab assistance. Exams were held semester-wise two times a year. The level of difficulty was moderate to hard.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Mckinsey,Bain and ZS comes for internship opporutnities. They come for various roles like IT roles, Analyst roles and Marketing roles. The stipend offered also ranges from various ranges to 5 LPA to 15 LPA.

Placement Experience

- Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. They also get internships opportunities from 5th or 6th semester. - The highest package was offered around 30 LPA, while the average was 8 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees remained the same for the whole course of duration. 100000. Tuition-70000. I took an internship from McKinsey and Company, which was a campus placement offer. My role was of a Consumer Survey Analyst.

Campus Life

The annual fest was named Breeze. It was a combined sports, cultural and a technical fest for our college. The library has an extensive collection of books, ranging from journals, research papers to general books.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels were provided by the college premises and we had both options for AC & NON AC rooms for availing. The food was decent with focus on variety & nutritious value of it. The hostels are registered through the Hostel Management System Portal.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

We had to take an admission test, based on which results we were alloted our preferred streams The application form is available on the college's official site. The dates to apply are around January to March. The exam was held in 2 slots, where I gave the exam in 2nd slot. The exam was for 2-3 hours, and the difficulty was moderate.

College life and it's reality

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

Placement ls are pretty decent as per the recession but still not that impressive i will say 50% students are getting placed till now but i can say the placement are still not normal so at this time we can hope for the best

Placement Experience:

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Campus placement is offered in college but not all students get on campus placement only some students get and others have to search for off campus placement you have to be in top 10 in your branch to get a on campus placement as the competition is very high

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

Highest Package of Our College is 8 lpa and it is depend of Students Capibility and Average Package is 3 lpa. 50-60% students got placement and lastly I wanna say is that It's not depend on College it's depend on Students. Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.

I applied to several colleges, including shiv nadar university, vit, SRM and DTU. I received admissions from VIT, and SRM but chose SNU for its research focus. DTU was my initial preference, but i couldn't secure admission due to its highly competitive environment. I applied for symbiosis, noida as well as christ, ghaziabad. I had got an offer for afmission in both of them.
