HOSTEL ACCOMODATION IS GOOD. PROPER DISCIPLINE IS THERE.
GOOD FOOD COURTS ARE THERE. NO NEED TO GO OUTSIDE FOR FOOD.
THE MAIN THING THAT I LIKE ABOUT THE COLLEGE IS TEACHERS ARE GOD LEVEL.

Dislikes

MESS FOOD QUITE BELOW AVERAGE. IT NEEDS TO IMPROVED.
SOME ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS ARE VERY RUDE. THEY DIDN'T LISTEN.
NOT PROPER SANITATION IN SOME HOSTELS WHICH NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.

Course Curriculum Overview

1, the course is so adaptive and interesting. one will enjoy the course is he/she concentrate in their studies and can achieve many things in life. 2. CSE course is designed in such a way that it will sticked in your brain and you can use in future.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

more than 250 companies provide internship in the college with the stipend of around 20000+ during cu internship programme. accenture, deloitte, EY etc came for the tallent hunt in the college and they provide good stipends.

Placement Experience

The placements of college is phenomenal. Almost 90% of the students get placed in the on campus placements. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE STOOD AT 54 L .AVERAGE PACKAGE STANDS AT APPROX 600000. OVER 900 EMINENT RECRUITERS PARTICIPATE IN PLACEMENT PROCESS.

Fees and Financial Aid

there are total 63 courses in btech. the btech fees is total 12.8L. Hikes on fees depends on college administration. if you score 90 to 100, you will get 100% fee waiver. 80-90, we you will get 50%. the placements are good. according to knowledge, current year highest package is 54L

Campus Life

1.There are world class tech. fest organized here. CU-FEST is one of these. Many world class singers came here and perform. Currently, mankirt aulakh and benny dayal came here. 2. The library is multi stored bulding and consists of wide range of books. 3 classrooms are equiped with computer and smart boards.

Hostel Facilities

1. for 5 seater non ac room- 106800 per annum.and for same AC 138000(ONLY FOR BOYS) 2. 4 seater NON AC- 120000 PER ANNUM. 3. 2 SEATER(FOR BOYS)- 168000 and same for AC 198000. the meal quality is average. since iam living in 5 seater ac room.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

1. the admission is quite simple.He/she required to give the CUCET exam for the admission and need the qualify the test. According to your percentage, you will get your desired branch. 2. application dates used to came before your 12th exam. The exam is conducted in phase wise 3.for SC - 15%, GEN-EWS-10%, ST-7.5%, OBC-27%,Pwd-5% 4. the questions are quite average level

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
