Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really challenging and exciting compared to other courses, there's a lot of focus on practical learning this is done in labs and workshop, not a lot of research initiative is taken from the college side and elective courses include CTM, EEE etc.

Internships Opportunities

No college doesn't provide any internship of their own but it gives permission to do the same by ourselves. No stipend is given.

Placement Experience

I don't know much about the placement , because I am still in 5th semester, as per the knowledge of seniors I heard that placement is ok in our college, about 30% of the students get placed and few companies that visited our college is Amazon, make my trip, Bosch, technology Mahendra, etc.

College Events

Lots of technical fests will be taking place, no cultural fest was organized as per my knowledge, footfall is like around 500, the college authority contribution can be said like very little ore ZERO (none).

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very affordable because of the cut off I got from CET rank, my college fee includes 40000 per year CET fee and 15000 per year college fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship, I did not avail of any scholarship, and I didn't apply for any loan.

Faculty

Faculty is young and dynamic, have enough knowledge about the course, and they are friendly interactive staff members, they share almost anything related to the subject and the standard of teaching is good.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
