Likes

There are plenty of clubs which you can join for personality development.
Hostels are pretty clean and tidy also you will get free laundry service here
Labs and classrooms are well equipped and clean.

Dislikes

Campus size is very small , its like only 5 acres approx.
There are very less or no fests happening in college
Attendance policy is very strict , its like 85% attendance is mandator For writing exams

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of college is a bit older as they teach physics and chemistry in first year which is of no use if you are from any good branch like cse because you must coding skills if you wanna grab opportunities at the end of fourth year and also the teaching method of faculty is very boring so you have to study all things by yourself if you wanna get a good cgpq.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 372000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for comedk students is on a higher side than kcet students , its like 3lac per year for comedk and 90k per year for kcet students . Scholarships are available for reserved category students of karnataka and not for all students.Campus employment opportunities are also so so in the placement drive of 2023 the highest package is of 43 lac JPY ( japanese yen ) per annum .so you will get a better idea from this.

Overall experience of the college is good if you get good friends otherwise this college doesn't have that good campus life . Campus size is also very small , engineering block is in only 5 acres approx. there are many clubs including coding clubs , cultural clubs , gaming club etc which you can join .

Admission

For admission in RIT bangalore you have to give an entrance exam called comedk after which your rank will decide your college options and opportunities for good branches in rit you must have a ranke between 1.5k to 2.5k for good branches linke cse and ece in RIT.

the placement oppurtunity in my collage are the quite good especilly for computer science and it branches from seventh semester ownwards students become eligible for campous placements many reputed companies visit our campous every year including infosys tcs vipro oracle google fedility amazon etc.free product based companies like amazon zoho meesho also conduct intervies for high perfoming students like santosh pradeep sharth amit bhuvan they got placed inamazon for 24 lpaa name called dhanush 58 lpa and the gold medalist of our college.our college average package is 6lpa,around 80 to 85 percent students get placed every year

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

Placement Experience:

The placements record of Bangalore institute of technology is quite impressive and has been improving every year.Students become eligible for for campus placements from fifth sem onwards.The college has dedicated training and placement cell.Many companies are visited the campus including Google Micrsoft cisco tcs phonepe asian paints fadility amazon and more.Apart from IT companies a few core and startup firms also offer roles.The average package offered is around 4 to 5 LPA.The highest package is 57 LPA offered gy MIcrosoft company.Nearly 80 to 90 percentage of students from the eligible batch secure placements every year.If I did't placed in my college I plan to work for few year to gain experience and later pursue a master's degree to enhance my career.

After the 6th sem the students are allowed for internships and can go for placement campus selection or off campus placement and the avg goes to 6.5 to 7 lpa which is quite decent and good percentage of students get placed every year

Course curriculum is outdated to be very honest. It needs to be changed as soon as possible. Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi need to change their curriculum as soon as possible because in the era of Artificial intelligence we are lagging behind and this traditional syllabus need to be scraped out and make from scratch from industry experts. Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year,students start preparing for internships. Companies like Accenture,Wipro,etc. visits the campus (through senior info). For amazon, we are told that they don't visit the campus for internship and placement, so we have to do it off-campus. The highest package offered is 53.5LPA. and the average package is 6.5LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job first and after gaining experience, further achieve higher studies.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

This was the college of my choice as it was comparatively closer to my home, and other alumni from this college had informed me about its merits.
