Vips college iiot branch reviews and opinions

The course i am currently enrolled in is iiot and it's a mixture of both hardware and software. I would not say that it is the best course to get enrolled in but it is on a median scale because you do not get a chance to go into the depth of proper computer science knowledge which is necessary if you want to go into a tech related job and the second biggest flause is that it comes under the department of mechanical engineering. This branch can be more imporved if they started containing more computer science related subjects or coding languages

After getting the course in the ggsipu counseling you are required to pay 60000 rupees through online payment in order to lock the seat and after that the remaining 1.04 lakh you have option to give through check cash or upi but that payment is done in the college itself. Regarding the scholarship there is no such scholarship provided yet to financially weaker students and regarding the course worth the price i think it is very much over priced as u Don get to see that much value for the value being offered I think the fee should ne around 80k-1lakh.

The infrastructure of the college is very good I would say but the quality of clubs and societies are not that much good. Overall the campus life is fun and full of enjoyment due to the fests college organise. The library and it's facilities are really very good as they are well maintained. The only problem is the campus area due to small size of the campus you don't get to play that much of the outdoor sports properly in the campus .

The eligibility for the btech iiot course is from the jee entrance exam and after the result of both the attempts the selection is then percentile based through the ggsipu online counselling rounds there are mainly 3 rounds of counselling in which you have to choose your college and branch accordingly to your preferences and then at the end of the result of the round you are told whether you get the college or not. If you get the college you have the option to freeze after freezing you get a seat and then have to do the documentation work offline or if you don't get a college or your preferred one you choosenthe float option whuch takes you to the next round . The major problem in this system is that it takes a lot of time in giving the result due to which many students don't get a chance to get there preferred college.
