- We have very good infrastructure and faculties.

- It's a bit far from the main city of Kolkata (around 60 kms). So it takes some time to reach the main city to visit some places for hangout.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is the course one needs to undergo to become a licensed medical doctor in India. It's a 5.5-year-long course having around 19 subjects ranging from Physiology and Anatomy to Medicine and Surgery. The teaching method is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
AIIMS has a very nominal fees of only Rs 5856 for the entire 5.5 year course of MBBS. This includes tuition fees, hostel fees and all the miscellaneous charges. However in other medical colleges, the fees for the entire course may vary from Rs 20000 in state medical colleges to around Rs 1 crore in famous private universities.
Campus Life
The overall campus experience at AIIMS Kalyani is good. We have state of the art infrastructure and facilities for medical education, patient service and research. There are various clubs in the college - Literary Club, Art Club, Music Club, Sports Club, Dance and Drama Club.
Admission
To get into MBBS, one needs to get a good rank in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is held every year around the time of May. The application form of the entrance exams is available online. It's a 3 hour test that judges examinees on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
