IN CMRIT, ALONG WITH REGULAR COURSE RELATED SYLLABUS,THEY PROVIDE EXTRA CERTIFICATION COURSES TO IMPROVE OUR SKILLS.MONTHLY EXAMS ENSURE THAT WE REMAIN UP TO DATE WITH OUR STUDIES. OPPURTUNITIES FOR ONLINE COURSE IS ALSO GIVEN WHICH HELP IN ENHANCING OUR SKILLS.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ARE GIVEN FROM 3RD YEAR ONWARDS. I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE AN APT REVIEW YET. BUT FROM WHAT IVE HEARD FROM THE SENIORS, THEY WERE GIVEN OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVEN ONLINE INTERNSHIPS . SOME INTERNSHIPS EVEN OFFER STIPENED. THIS ENSURES THAT WE GET A PROPER CAMPUS PLACEMENT.

FROM SEM 1 PLACEMENT TRAINING IS GIVEN TO ALL STUDENTS. THIS INCLUDES APPTITIUDE AND PROGRAMMING SKILLS. FROM SEM 5 , STUDENTS START APPEARING FOR PLACEMENTS. THE AVERAGE PACKAGE BEING 7LPA AND HIGHEST BEING 30LPA. ALMOST ALL SYUDENTS GET PLACES. TO ENSURE PLACEMENTS, WE WERE ASKED TO PREPARE PROJECTS AND TAKE ONLINE COURSES SINCE 1ST SEM.

Fees and Financial Aid

STUDENTS FROM KCET HAVE A FIXED YEARLY FEE WHICH DOES NOT CHANGE. THERE WAS NO HIKE IN TUITION FEE. OTHER THAN THE REQUIRED FEE,NO OTHER FEES ARE REQUIRED BY THE COLLEGE(EXCEPT HOSTEL FEES).SCHOLARSHIPS OPPURTUNITIES ARE ALSO GIVEN BY THE COLLEGE. YEARLY CAMPUS EMPLOYMENT HAS ALWAYS GIVEN GOOD RESULTS. TO ENSURE THIS, STUDENTS ARE GIVEN TRAINING SINCE THE 1ST SEM.

THERE ARE AROUND 4 FESTS CONDUCTED EVERY YEAR(2 CULTURAL AND 2 SPORTS).ITS USUALLY HELD DURING MID-SEM. THE LIBRARY ALSO HAS A WIDE RANGE OF BOOKS , E-BOOKS AND ONLINE SUBSCRIPTIONS. NEW BOOKS ARE OFTEN ADDED TO THE LIBRARY. EVERY CLASSROOM HAS PROJECTORS WHICH ARE USED FOR PRESENTATIONS REGULARLY. CMRIT ALSO PROMOTES CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES. THERE ARE SEVERAL TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL CLUBS WHERE STUDENTS WHICH BRING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THEIR LIFE.

Admission

THE ADMISSION PROCESS WAS EXTREMELY SMOOTH.FOR B.E IN ECE, THE CUTOFF REQUIREMENT FOR KCET WAS AROUND 15K, WHICH ENSURES THAT THE LEVEL OF TEACHING IS EXTREMELY GOOD.ALL THE APPLICATION RELATED DETAILS WERE AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE COLLEGE.EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED ON A MONTHLY BASIS TO ENSURE THAT STUDENTS GET GOOD PRACTICE.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
