The people who have problems with bus will suffer a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of engineering colleges in first year is just jumbled and you need to study everything. You will explore all ther branches and if you are in top cgp in college u will get a chance to upgrade your branch.you need to improve you skills side by side in order to get a better placement. In nit UTTRAKHAND there are two semesters in a year and each semester includes two class test a two mid term exam

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You will be able toh sit in intership according to companies cgp demand but being true not much companies come here so you need to improve you skills apart and try to sit in off campus placement fir better placement.

Placement Experience

Bring true enough due to location of college not very much companies visit our college so placement rate is not soooo good but it is improving .but you will a good opportunity to improve your knowledge and skills which will not be compromised..you could reach your desired placement according to your capability

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life

Campus life will teach you many things .you will explore various things.our UTTRAKHAND has various visiting places . Stationery shop's in just biside college and other shops are 1km away. This is just a problem that Shops are not very near and you will not get any transport such as auto here ..

Here at nit UTTARAKHAND hostel are of decent level. Hostel are clean hygienic and big enough. Hostel are separated according to years that means first year will get other hostelAnd senior other... Each room will include 3 member .

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

The admission process for NITs in India, like NIT Uttarakhand, typically includes the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. I got 95.18 percentile in jee mains. In last round of csab I got Nit UTTRAKHAND mechanical engineering branch. Being Frank you will get a huge reservation benefits in admission in engineering colleges. Clearing jee mains is not a difficult tast being consistant and focused may lead you to this easily. Fill jissa and csab form carefully

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya - Review

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

I chose this college because i have the state quota for this state(Uttarakhand). I expect to get CS here but unfortunately i got ECE.Also a tag is NIT will be benificial if future.
