Remarks

The only negative mark about the university is that it is very gender biased. There is a fixed in time for girls and not for boys. Every time girls take a leave, the parents are being informed but this is not the same in case of boys.

Entrance Preview

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law is one the topmost NLUs in India. It has the best infrastructure of all NLUs. moreover, a very good faculty adds to the reason why I chose to study here. It gives students very good opportunities for academic as well as overall excellence. Moots, Parliamentary Debates, Internships etc, every opportunity is being provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus is according to how much students can grasp. Also, the curriculum is very nicely separated into different semesters. Project work has to be done for all the year, only that becomes a little bit hectic. Else, everything is fine.

Internships Opportunities

Our college just provides a reference to the internships. We have to apply for it on our own. And not every internship is a paid one.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placements and job opportunities through the college are almost NIL. Very few people are able to get them. But yeah, after completing the college, many firms take up the students of NLUs, as they are groomed in a very different and excellent manner.

College Events

2.5

There are many events lined up for the year. There is a Bollywood night, fresher's night, Dakshini i.e a traditional event, a farewell week which has a lot of events. We have also started our own fests from the last year. Our cultural fest is 'Ritwaan' and Sports fest was 'Zelus'.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible if we only focus on the part of tuition and infrastructure fees but when it comes to the mess fees, it's very high unnecessarily. They increase the mess fees by five thousand rupees each semester and also don't increase the quality of food.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any idea about this. But the college might be having any such type of facilities for people who are in need of it.

Campus Life

5

The life is very restricted to the campus itself, the gender ratio is 2:1, boys being double in number. There are extracurricular activities, sports, and other competitions too. They are very good and very necessary for our development. Everyone is engaged in one or the other activity.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel facilities are nice and comforting. We have AC in each room and we also have an assistant warden who resides with us, just in case if we have an emergency, we can contact her. Mess food is okay, not that good but bearable. The infrastructure of the hostel is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

We just have interacted with the Alumni once and yes, they told us about how to survive the law school and how to crack through it.

Exam Structure

We have two semesters each year. One of 5 months and another one for 4 months. The months December and May are for our end semesters. While we also have our Mid-semesters in between the semester. The final G.P.A is calculated by adding up half of our Mid-semester marks, Half of the end-semester marks and our projects plus attendance.

Admission

To get admission in any NLU, the students have to give the common entrance exam i.e CLAT. it is a multiple choice question exam. It is very hard and only the intellectual lot is able to crack it. then according to the ranks of students, they're being given the NLUs.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty of my college is very nice, understanding and educated. Also, they are very student friendly. They are always available for students. They also help us with writing research papers, projects etc. They encourage us to interact with them. For them, the classroom is not the only place for education.

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.
