Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is updated every year and it would be reviewed by a lot of people. I took this course as there was a lot of scope for this in the present as well as the future. There are in-lab sessions which help the students to learn them practically. They encourage students to do projects on their own or in collaboration. There are two CAT/mid term exams, and one FAT/Final semester exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is fixed for the entire course, as per your VITEEE rank. There is no hike in fees. There are lots of scholarships given to students have excelled in academics/sports and to the students who can't afford to pay the amount.
Campus Life
There are two main events/fests that happen namely, TechnoVIT (around October) and Vibrance (around March). There are other small events which occur every week. The library has a lot of subject/core books as well as novels which can be borrowed for 15days (can be extended to 30days). There are smart classrooms which air conditioned. Sports and extracurricular activities take place maybe everyday as they encourage people. There many clubs for each concern in VIT, from Ecoclub to many technical clubs.
Admission
There is an entrance exam VITEEE, which has questions on physics, chemistry and maths. They were easier compared to JEE. There was no negative marking. The application form is in online on their website, and the fees is based on the rank you get in the entrance exam. There were three slots per day and it happened in various place across india, and the difficulty was medium. Maybe more places for giving the entrance exam can be done.
