Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is very good. they provide you licences for various online platforms too like LinkedIn learning and Coursera. teachers are well educated but some teachers are way younger and are not well trained. the curriculum is tough. you dont get time to focus on your skills and there are a lot of assignments you have to do. specific aspects that I like about the college is that their curriculum is very similar to tier one colleges like IIT triple IT and other government institutes curriculum prepares us for real-world application or further academic suites as the curriculum involves the latest technologies like AI and machine learning, which provides a better landing to students to the real world technologies and they have well prepared labs for everything. The areas that can be improved in the cost, collegium and teaching methods are that they should minimise the compulsory attendance policy of 75% and minimise it up to 60%, the frequency and timings of exams along with perspective.

Placement Experience

4

chandigarh university attracts a wide array of companies for campus placements. some notable names include infosys, wipro,TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, ibm etc. the number of opffers provided by these companies varies according to the knowledge and skills of the applicants. after 4th semester, second year, students are applicable for the internships. after 5th semester you are eligible to sit in placement drives. many companies visit and pick 1 or 2 candidates or even no candidate like microsoft. talking about the hightst package it goes up to 40 50 lakhs and talking about the minimum packages which are given by mass recruiter companies are 2-4 lakhs but the average package of the college is around 6-7 lakhs which is pretty good. now, if i talk about my plans after degree i am also preparing for gate exam to do my masters as copllege placement is not what i want. College placements are okay and it all depends on the skills of the students. How much a student can improve their skills to gr

Fees and Financial Aid

Providing you some more details on the fee structure and availability of scholarship, financial assistance or campus employment opportunities. I would start with the fee structure. The fee structure of the college is that you have to pay 1,20,000 per semester and there are eight semester in this course and it, if you want to take hostels, then the fees of hostel is 1,10,000 for four seater and 80,000 for five seater, they do not provide any financial assistance, but if you pass their CUCET exam, they provide your scholarship according to that only according to the score in that exam, but there is a problem that if you get CGPA less than 7.5, then your scholarship is revoked and you don't get further financial assistance, campus employment opportunities are very good. Most of the companies visit the campus. Most of the tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon. The complete cost of the education is around 20 to 25, lakhs including tuition fee, service fees and other compulsory char

Google, NVIDIA and likewise many others who are planning to have their setup in Punjab are already hiring a lot of people from our college. So, placements median so far is close or a shade above 10 but obviously it will grow to 20 till our turn comes.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
