Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Being a Doctor, you have the ability to serve the society. The pleasure you get after curing one is unimaginable. It gives you the motivation to do what you are doing and also make you love your duty. I guess this course would have become even better if the minimum attendance criteria for sitting for the proff exams is made 50% and the students should be provided exposure on the more common health problems than the rare ones. Frequency of exams differs from college to college . Normally 2 exams are there every month in our college.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

After completing the final proff, 1 year of the internship has to be done by every student and after that, they are provided an MBBS degree. A stipend of more than 20000 is provided to every student during the time of internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for AIIMS is 5856 for the whole 5.5-year course. Students can avail of the state scholarships provided to college students otherwise, they can sit for scholarship exams conducted every year. Normally the scholarship amount is 5000 per month Since I am in 1st year I have not taken any responsibilities or roles currently.

Campus Life

4.5

Elyssia is our college fest apart from this all festivals are conducted. The library facilities provided in our college are amazing. There are a variety of academic books kept in the library which are accessible to the students. Lecture theatres are equipped with AC, a projector, and green boards. Lights are enough for the illumination of the class. Several indoor and outdoor games are available for the students inside the campus. Students in 2nd year or above are made the heads of different clubs like music clubs, dance clubs, games clubs, art clubs, etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

2 students in one room Rooms are provided with two beds, study table, bedside table, wardrobe and rocking chair. Meal quality is average and the items are made keeping in mind the food habits of different states. Hostels are provided during the time of admission.

Admission

At first, you have to appear for NEET after your 12th with PCB and if you clear the cut-off, then you can apply for counseling. You can visit the official website of NEET for details regarding application fees, forms, and dates Timing of exam: from 2 pm to 5:20 pm The question paper of NEET is not so difficult but the competition is what makes it difficult I guess the verification of documents should be done online. This will decrease the inconvenience caused to the applicants while traveling from one college to another.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
