Great campus. The college has very big campus and is also very beautiful
Sports complex . Nit Agartala has the biggest sports complex among all nits and is also very big and enjoyable
Festival. The college cultural festival like moksha and technical festival are the best.

Dislikes

Less opportunities for low branches as few core companies come for placements for core companies
Mostly tech companies come for placement and very come for core placements
Vehicles should be allowed for dayscholars in the campus. Its not allowed thats i dislike the most

Course rating - 5/10 I choose the course as I have intrest in biology and also wanted to be an engineer. 2) they prepare well for future outcomes by there valuable training and advice. 3) improvement required are more proffesor and good internship opportunities. 4) mid terms are of 1hour and endterm exams are of 2 hours.

Internships Opportunities

Internship are offered from 2nd year and mainly in 3rd years. For projects - projects are mainly given from the 3rd year in my course and are also guided by the professors. This project helps during placement and creating a great and nice RESUME or CVS.

Placement Experience

The placements are the best among the engineering college in the state. From 4th year we can sit for placements and start preparing from the 3rd year. Many companies visited the campus and made offers, few names are maruti, infosys, hdfc bank, etc. The percentage of student that gets placed are almost 80-90% . The average package of last year was 6-7lakhs per annum and the highest package was 62lakhs per annum. Most of the students plans are to get placed from the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a reserved category student my fees are approx 14000 a year and 7000 approx per semester. All these are semester fees and i don't need to pay tution fees. My complete course will be done in less than a lakh rupees. Approx 55000 rs for 4 years.

Campus Life

Overall the college life is great we have many clubs in colleges for example coding club, music club known as malhar , dance club called dzire , drama club called aveg , anime clubs, etc. The cultural festival of NIT Agartala is MOKSHA.

Admission

1) The admission process was smooth first I gave exam of jee mains and did councelling and got selected on my branch . 2) Eligibility is just give jee mains exam. Caste reservation also provided. 3) caste reservation available for St / Sc students 4) In a semester 2 exams are there one is midterm and another is endterm. Class test are also taken and considered for marking. 5) improvement needed are interior of classes and others

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent in Core branch and IT Branch. From 3rd year here, students are eligible for internships and From 4th year , students are eligible for campus placements 30 - 40 companies visit here .Companies like Microsoft, Apple , Infosys etc visit in the campus and every companies offer 7 - 8 offers Last year Infosys offer 36 lakh in the college. Average package offered by Companies are 8- 9 LPA and highest package is 52 LPA Approximately 90 + % students got placed My plans is to do MTECH after getting degree

This course is related to my passion on chemical or Metarialestic field. Here is good placement in this branch. Faculty members are mainly phd scholars in 1st year with little more professors. Student ratio is 7:3 boys girls ratio. Mid term exam was little bit tough which is different from school level exams or other exams.

NIT Agartala is great and the placement are moderate

Student should appear in JEE MAIN entrance exam, application is provided in NTA website and it costs around Rs 1200 and the application is usually released by November. Students belonging to SC/ST can avail low cutoff and reservation...Read More
