Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is 9/10 . It's one of the busy curriculum of college but at same time it's interesting because you learn new things everyday. In the curriculum the give us clinical cases to diagnose the case it's made us to think that what will be the disorder and increase our thinking capacity. The practical classes are also much patient oriented. There is one or two mistake I felt is that there is very less holidays in curriculum its make sometime boring. The frequency of the examination is very high in our AIIMS . Is like at each month at least 2 / 3 exam u have to face it. It's difficulty level also High sometimes moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

There is self intership provided by college at the end of 4.5 years . Also after completing course you can work as junior resident at minimum salary 1 lakh per month. There is sufficient time and gap given for preparing neet pg. And there teaching also little bit oriented to pg prepration.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is only 5 k tution fee for whole course which is very nominal. But the complete cost of education is littel high. Like for mess you need to pay 4,300 per month . And for mbbs books you need to pay heavy price. And if you come from very long distance you need to pay more traveling. Yes there are Many scholership available for student especially for West Bengal student NPC they got 60 k per annum. Also there is othere school like FFE, relaince education, GSK , ONGC , TATA scholership, HDFC bank and other. In the campus they will provide you intership which provides you some benifit. After completing course you also work as junior resident in here.

Campus Life

4

Yes . The classroom was very large and provide comfortable sitting . It's AC classroom. There was big fest called as Elisiya. Which has high value in college. There are many other small small events happen in college in each month like krush janmashtmi, Ganesh chaturthi, foundation day of college, Diwali, cristmas , new year celebration, 26 th January, Lakshmi Pooja and holi, and much more. There is annule day which provide you prizes for interhouse compitition. There are 4 houses which compete with each othere in sports and othere activities like danc ,drama , art , litterrally etc. There is art club , dance club, drama club , littelray club. This club help in guiding events and organising it.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is one large room for 2 students. In room you have two tubelight, and one centre light ,two window . 2 table, 2 chair,2 bed , 2 almalris, 2 raks .etc . There is one mess for all mbbs students. Which provides you sufficiently good food . The quantity is like how much you want to it. Quality is very with dish. But on an average you can eat. Resistration process is very easy . You just need to feel one form and submit it to wardon. Yes if you want room outside the campus there is available at cost of 5k per month. Which includes your kitchen and bathroom also. The room just near the gate of campus. Opposite side of National Highway.

Admission

Application process happen with help of MCA counseling program. The admission process give list of students based on there neet score. For neet exam you need to be 17 year old and have 50 percentage above marks in 12 th bord. The part I don't like is there is only one exam happened all over India at same time. I will suggest there must be at least two exam should be conducted by NTA because may be for some students 1 exam conat define them or they have bad luck.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
