Course Curriculum Overview

According to any other subjects I like the animal biology so I chose the course zoology. We get to know about animals morphology and anatomy structures and the functions which help us to know about different body functions and processes. There is need of improvement in the classrooms. Faculty is good and well qualified. We have semester exams and practicals

Class Size: 6Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We stay in hostels so we don't take tutions here The complete cost of education is nearly of 300,000. Scholarships is available only for those students whose parents income are less than 50,000. Campus give us part-time job per day 40 rs.

Campus Life

Overall the campus life is good we have got a good view of nature. The annual festivals held here are - college week, TBNpremier league ,Book fair , farewell, freshers, independence day , The range and accessibility of books like comics,novels and journals are quite less in the library The facilities and technological provisions within the classroom is good but not quite good. Sports week are often held within the campus Students social groups are there like ncc, nss,and zootopia group which is runned by zoology students which help us to serve the environment,nature.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in the room are quite bad there's only one bed and one table no fan,and the walls are also in bad position, colour of the walls are also fading,there's is leakage of water from the roof Meal quality is very bad there's only potato fry and meat but they cook the same thing everyday and without masala The locality of our hostel is in barapani

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course was above 60 percentage. I found the application form in the Google in college website. The frequency and timing is acceptable with the difficulty level. The improvement of ultrastructure of the college and the hostels specially our science girls hostel.

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. The final years student are eligible for campus placements , many banking companies visited the campus and the average package was 15-25k the highest was 54k ... I don't know the exact student percentage who got the placement but it was quite good

Remarks:

As it is still an upcoming University, it has room for improvement for sure. The campus is still building up. During monsoon the route is a concern for which chancellor sir is working with. But provided the facilities in a commendable fee, it isn't a bad experience for sure. You'll not regret it. I had one of my best phase of life here, you could too.

The reason why I chose this college is that it is the one college that provides psychology as a regular course. Other colleges in my area are self-financing colleges. "Empowering Minds: Union Christian College, Shillong"

KoI tired in Anthony's and Edmund's but my mark is not up to there requirement so I choose this college. One of the best likable about this college is that they don't judge you from your previous mark instead they encourage you for the betterment of your future. I applied online for this college. They faculty members where very polite when we talked on phone. The fee structure of this college is in installment wise. But it's not a semester wise, it's yearly.
