Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this institution, the fees are a little bit high, but compared to other private colleges and universities, this is the most affordable college. I would be specific here...In my 1st year B.Sc(1st semester and 2nd semester) the fees were around 44k and hostel fees are not included here as I haven't opted for a hostel but the hostel is a bit expensive here as the facility and strictness are maintained.

Campus Life

4

Along with studies various festivals take place. Overall experience is good. There are different clubs that organize events and programs frequently. The library is this college is quite popular, it has more than 50,000 as far as I know during my introductory session in the library.

Admission

For admission, online application as well as offline is available. There is no specific time to apply. The applications are accepted till seat is available. Eligibility criteria is only 60% in 12th and 55% if he /she belongs to ST category.

Faculty

4

This factor totally depends on the students from my personal experience I find some teachers ideal for me and this can differentiate according to the understanding of the student. The overall teaching of the faculties is good. The interaction between students and teachers takes place from time to time...and teachers also want us students to discuss any problems if facing. I am from the chemistry department and here in my department teachers are friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to any other subjects I like the animal biology so I chose the course zoology. We get to know about animals morphology and anatomy structures and the functions which help us to know about different body functions and processes. There is need of improvement in the classrooms. Faculty is good and well qualified. We have semester exams and practicals

Remarks:

As it is still an upcoming University, it has room for improvement for sure. The campus is still building up. During monsoon the route is a concern for which chancellor sir is working with. But provided the facilities in a commendable fee, it isn't a bad experience for sure. You'll not regret it. I had one of my best phase of life here, you could too.
