College Curriculum is decent enough . Exam taken frequently
Coding culture is decent and placement is ok ok
technical fest is good enough there is many clubs robotics ai ml clubs

Dislikes

Thier is language barrier... People mainly conversation in begali so for the other state candidate its will difficult to communicate.
Campus is very small so explore the campus is not possible
Their is no hostel so difficulty faced by many student

Curriculum is bit old generation engineering . Bit knowledge of cse is prepared for real world application Teaching method should be fully digital and they teaches new things like Blockchain ai ml. They is 4 internal exam and 2 practical exam. And last End semester exam. Difficult level is moderate

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is 75k first semester fees 2nd sem is 72k and at the end of semester fees likely 68k approx per sem whole btech fees is 5.5 lakh for 4 year. No scholarship for other states home state i.e west Bengal domicile can avail some scholarship.

Campuse is very small due to it's is situated in IT hub of kolkata campus near has wipro office... Annual fest name is anacornas and tech fest is EDGE annual fest is in apr and edge is in March College has a playground

Eligibility is 12 appearing and 12 pass out both can give wbjee exam Application form will found in wbjee.com site fee is 500 for general No reservation for other state only west Bengal candidate will be provided reservation benefits. Mode of exam offline pen paper mode Exam pattern consider paper 1 mathematics (75quest) and paper 2 physics and chemistry (60 quest both) difficult level is moderate compare to jee mains Areas where improvement is needed is wbjee counselling is very late they can start their counselling process bit fast

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

This college is west bengal no 2 private college according to NIRF data and also placement basis. And techno has better quality in education rather than other college.
