Course Curriculum Overview

My course is GEOGRAPHY HONS. there are govt as well as pvt jobs in this field. In my college, the geography department is pretty good, the teachers here are full of knowledge about the subject as well as about the world, so you get to know a lot of things

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 20610 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my Course is 20610 per annum. The fees for your end-semester exam vary according to the subject you opted for. In my case, it was 1400. However, there are very few internship opportunities.

Campus Life

You get exposure in DU, and students from all over India are admission in DU so you get a pretty good exposure. From February - March, many fests by different colleges are organised, in which Delhi University students can enter easily by showing their I'd card

Admission

If you want to be admission in Delhi University, you must take the CUET exam conducted by NTA! To get into the DU you must score 600+ ( out of 800) and 400+ ( out of 600 for science students only) CUET is not that tough, you need to go through your 12th-class books thoroughly

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
