Everything regarding Chandigarh University

Course curriculum is designed very good. I must say the course curriculum is very organised. At first I literally didn't have any knowledge about the curriculum of my university but when I came to University I really find it very good. You have different subjects with practical labs which prpares you for the real world application. The improvement they need is the faculty they have. My university's faculty is little inexperience. We have 2 MSTs during our sem and 1 Practical MST. The exams are not the difficult. I would say our exams are medium on the level of difficulty.

Placement what University claim is 100% but currently because of recession there is very less placement in the university. Students are not getting placed. Moreover there is very crowd in the university as compare to other universities which led to shortage in the placement. Almost every company visit here form Google to Microsoft but because of so much students the placement is still very low. Because these companies take 1 or 2 students and there are 5000 students present here.

When I take admission the fees was 90000 pee sem but now in 2024 the fees for CSE is 110000. They increased 10000 per year. The complete cost of my education is around 376000 including 2000 examination fees per semester. Moreover there is a charge of 9000 rupees for TPP. If you want to sit in the placement then you have to pay these TPP charges. Moreover CU provide 100% of scholarship through CUCET and also 50% to thode who have more than 90% in +2. CU provide placement to there students which are very good.

CU fest is organised every year in the university in which every department compete with each other. Moreover library here are very good. You can find almost every book in the library. If any book is not present then you can complaint it to the librarian and they will get the book as soon as possible. Facilities are moderate here. You get something or may not. Sports activities are good here. You can join sports group in which you can play any sport. Here are clubs for everything whether it is singing dancing coding modeling and all are run by the students

Hostel facilities are moderate here. Sometimes they make good food or sometimes I don't know what they make. 4 seater rooms are very very cogusted. There is very less space is 4 seater room. Moreover there is so much crowd in the university because of which they rented flats are very costly here. 2bhk flat near the college starts from 18000 per month which is very costly.

There was not such eligibility for the course. Anyone can apply for the course here in CU. You can find the application form or everything related to Chandigarh University on there website that is www.cuchd.in , there is not such any application fees but they take 1000 rupees for a test named CUCET. This test is very useful as you can get scholarship upto 100% through this test but I have 93% in 12th so I get 50% scholarship automatically as CU provides 50% scholarship to those who have more than 90% in their 12th. Moreover you can give CUCET as much times as you want but you need to register again and also need to give 1000 rupees again. There is not much need in the admission process but they need to tell you everything clearly.
